Overview
Foresight is a cafe recommendation application that utilizes the GPT-Based Cafe Searching Platform. With this platform, users can easily discover the best cafes in their area, saving time and effort in finding dining establishments that align with their preferences. The key feature is a search engine integrated with the OpenAI API (ChatGPT), which processes the input prompts entered in the search bar. Subsequently, the generated list of cafes is further processed using the Google Maps API to obtain details about each cafe, such as ratings, location, price range, and more.
Other features include authentication using ID Tokens and Refresh Tokens (JWT), the ability to save or bookmark places, user preference setup, and a history of visited places.
